Day 4: January 3, 2009. Saturday.
Fast walk 2 laps at the trail near my place.
Today was weird, I actually gained 1.6 lbs. Oh well I am sure there is a good explanation for that. I am starting to think that I’ve hit a sticking point.
I was thinking maybe it is because I have finally released all the toxins in the fat cells. I was wrong I was able to lose more Weight in the days to come. I will get to take progress in the next few posts.
This day I wanted to go to the local dive bar to watch the first series of the NFL playoffs and I would have loved to enjoy some beer, wings, pizza or anything for that matter. Watching the games and not drinking is like a sin in itself.
There were 2 games on, one at 4:30 Atlanta[24] vs. Arizona[30] and the other at 8:00 Colts[17] and Chargers[23]. I would have been soaking up all the food and beverages for a good amount of the day on a regular case. I endured the pain and went on the entire time drinking waters and just waiting to go home to fill up on some exhilarating Master Cleanse lemonade juice.
I now have got to a pattern of doing the SWF that works best for me. It is a lot easier for me to consume the saltwater flush and I will tell you why. Instead of doing the 32 oz. mixture and trying to gulp that down. I do 2 servings of 16 oz. SWF at a time. This makes it easier for me to tolerate.
I have too much food at my house that keeps me wanting to stuff my face but the lemonade helps me out with the cravings. Really, I sure wish I could take a bit of the food in the fridge.
At this poing I am thinking “how does one go without food for 10 days?” This is only my 4th day. I am back at thinking that I can not back down now. Only 6 more days and my troubles are gone. I am now looking at foods as a reward for me after the cleanse is done.
I am feeling much more energy now. Not only are the 2 laps easy for me to do, I am actually doing more things around the house that I typically put on hold of another time to do.
My friends are even telling me that they can see a big difference in my appearance. Some of them were telling me that my face has even changed for the better and that I look health er. Quite honest this is what made the challenge for me even better. Now with the changes that are noticeable by my peers I gave me a new sense of accomplishment. Now I knew I wanted to last the whole 10 days no matter what. Not to mention that I wanted to have the feeling that I actually completed something in my pathetic life.
